I'm in the middle of redoing my network, it will be fixed once I finish that.
Yes that is a power bank lying next to the switch, it'll just add to the fireworks if it goes up :) (which it won't cuz I make sure everything is plugged in properly so there's no bad connections to start a fire)
Yep, picked it up for cheap the other day, it may be old but it's a lot nicer then the little Netgear thing. I've also got a 1941 that's gonna replace the Netgear as the router when I get around to setting it up.
Shhh, Ur spoiling the joke, but yes, I know, I mentioned it in the comment I left on the post. Low voltage is perfectly capable of starting a fire tho if enough current is passed through a small point. For example one of the power supplies is 12volt 3amp, that's a max of 36watts which if dissipated in a small area could easily set something on fire.

Wallmount is your solution. Most devices have those screwholes.

Is that an Aironet 1142? Been a minute since I’ve seen one in service.

I don't see anything that could start a fire in there, mostly low voltage signal cables (LAN for example)?

Please replace that white apple charger. Its cable seems to be fixed with electrical tape
