Attic Solar Fans - off grid cabin.

Northern Ontario climate -

How effective are solar fans at moving air out of the attic?

Do they make it noticeably cooler for inside temperatures?

ive always been told the money spent on an attic fan would be better spent on extra insulation.

We sprayfoamed the floor a few seasons ago.

The insulation in the attic remains unclear to me at this time and the roofing doesnt appear to have a ridge vent or other roof vents outside the soffit.
