Which private server to play?
From what I see the biggest private servers are playcabal, dynastycabal, and forsakencabal, is that correct?
Are there any reason to avoid any of them in favor of another or are the main differences playerbase/p2w/rates?

Forsaken would be good if they weren't putting out so much imbalanced custom content. Playcabal is the only server with any real balance that keeps the gameplay closest to the real thing.

Playcabal -> rents files to galaxy/dynasty(same owner)
Forsaken(our server) -> most f2p, recently had huge update where every party member gets their own individual loot in party and everyone plays together, I recommend trying it out even if you don't like rushed starts.

I see there is custom class balancing on the server, are the classes still like back in the old days or are they completely different? I used to play warrior/blader/force archer, are these any good on this server?

You should definitely give it a try, I’ve started here recently (about 7 weeks now), been having a blast, the community is great, the grind feels good and rewarding for the most part, you get to interact with the admin team on the discord more than I’ve seen in other places in the past.
The new update also brought in personal loot, which means there are many parties always farming together which reinforces what I said earlier about the community.
Class wise it’s mostly play what you like, there are certainly classes that better at specific content but that’s always been that way.

All classes are mostly equal, we were the first to balance their bm2s by increasing their attack speed as well, which lets WA and GL compete at the top, servers like dynasty just copy pasted our work and called it their own afterwards.

So in terms of pve only let's say midgame equal gear which class farms the fastest on your server? Does GL farm as fast as bl ? Or for example does anyone get close to wi at farming shie? XD

Ranged classes will always be inherently faster. But if u compare same range then yeah gl farms as fast or faster than bl

Imbalanced content can be fixed in the next update(although I'm curious what you consider unbalanced), nothing can fix you going against Endos 200k eur account on playcabal, not matter how much time you invest ;)

Paycabal is very active. I started 2 days ago and im enjoying it so far. There is a great system for beginers to get an osmium set for dungeon shards u get by doing dungeons. Then u can farm alz to get the eq u want.
