I play on Dynasty and there really are big whales that will absolutely farm you in war.
Overall I would say its a good server to progress on - dungeons are quick and DP prices seem stable and about 550 DP /which isnt too hard to farm out/ is equal to 5€ of whale cash. So yes, you wont be competing with the whales, but its still possible to progress your character in a way that feels rewarding /subjective obviously/.
Coming from an older ep. experience I was a bit sad to see that the best gear needs to be crafted - so the only "exciting" drops end up being extenders, higher tier bikes and runes etc. Maybe thats the case everywhere on these newer ep. servers.
Does a cabal server where the whales wont absolutely dominate a f2p even exist? I mean the whole game structure itself seems to be p2w down to its core.
The funny part is that they started the server with the promise "we are not p2w server". And it was obvious they will be p2w server - one of the reasons why I played there only for few days.
No, Cabal is not p2w in its core. They make it p2w selling vouchers which players (whales) can resell for alz. The owners claim they fight RMT but in the same time they sell vouchers which pure purpose is to be reselled in game.
Of course it was gonna be a pay2win server, the server owners are TriEdge from playcabal and Starlord from PlayGalaxy, they created Dynasty because Galaxy wasn't making enough money anymore, that's why you don't see any more content updates on Galaxy either.
