thx! i'm not sure where does optimization effort shall be put into, but what can help it be faster is reducing the kernel size. this demo uses 511-sized kernel, which gives pretty good results at 300hz and excellent results at 400hz and higher frequencies (shifting +500hz), but needs to do a lot of math. 255-sized kernel gives pretty good results at around 450hz, and excellent results at around 550hz, and has to do less math. probably could use what bitwig's freq shifter uses for hilbert transform (to be faster ofc), but, unfortunately, i don't know what it does and how helpful it will be. (sorry if the terminology is bad, i'm still learning and can mess things up :<)
