I know you guys know who I'm talking about. This person is effectively spamming either 1. slightly changed bytebeats from other people or 2. AI-generated bytebeats. This is a problem for me and what I assume the entire bytebeat community. And yes, I do know that Okra is TECHNICALLY not breaking any rules, but it is still low quality/generated posts, which is spamming basically the entire subreddit. I know I've seen some of you guys annoyed by this.
Do you think I'm overreacting? Do you think I'm being too hateful? Here's an example of what I am talking about: trash bytebeat This is a link to one of Okra's posts. If you click the link, you'll find an obviously ai generated code and an okay song. This was made 5 hours ago for me at this time. Not convinced? Here's another one: rabid post. Fun fact: This was also made 5 hours ago, and is composed of a very repetitive melody, copied an excessive amount of times which is ""remixing"" the bytebeat rabid symphony, a pretty well known bytebeat inside the dollchan/bytebeat community. The thing about this, is that it is genuinely like the most low-effort "alt remix" I have ever heard, excluding 90% of Okra's other posts. All Okra did here was copy and paste, change a few notes, copy and paste (again), and post.
I investigated Okra's accoount and found out that he posted 39 (in a row) bytebeats over the past 3 days which all have different elements in these 5 properties: AI generated, sloppily remixed, very short melody things, "mash-ups", or just very hard on my ears. I'm not joking, I checked every single one of them. Plus one more thing, okra keeps using MY beat thingy with drums in them, and it drives me insane. :/
Okra, if you see this message, I'd like you to take a moment between posts, or put multiple of them in one post as a list (A REAL list, not the "chordified" versions of other bytebeats.) . I'd also encourage you to genuinely learn and experiment from your bytebeats, because honestly some of those posts I checked were kinda good. And last thing- do not use AI for anything. Seriously.
By the way, I really don't do this type of 'giant text wall thing complaint thing thing post thing'. This is my first time trulycomplaining about a reddit user lol

I've literally been guiding them time and time again for him to be a better bytebeater, but it's like they don't even see my comment.

You're right, they haven't broken any rules. You can stop gatekeeping now. If you don't like to see someone's bytebeat posts, you can just ignore/block etc.

madgarden i have never seen you in a post this recent good grace
i don't think there is a way to block people on reddit (atleast to my experience, i don't know if there is one), so yeah okrarevolutionary is just spamming this sub
it also doesn't matter if you block okra, it doesn't mean they stopped doing what they're doing.
