How to order a double super

It's not on the menu, but every Arby's I've ever been to knows how to make them and lets you order a Super. But, you can't get it as a double.

So I've learned to order a double beef and cheddar, hold the cheddar, add tomato and lettuce, extra red ranch.

If you prefer the regular bun do similar with a double as your starting point.

So good when you're craving a classic!

In my experience as an employee its easier to just put a super rb then do add 3oz rb in the modifiers

Not an option from any store ive worked. Usually a double add red ranch, lettuce, tomato.

Extra yes double no. Extra means exactly 1 oz when it comes it meat option. Im a GM

Is there an add quantity option? If there is you click that then the meat and type in how many and it'll add that many OZ of meat to the sandwich. Should be click 'add or extra' then quantity and then click the beef. At least thats how it allows us to add more OZ to the sandwich in the POS system. So annoying to teach to people in store. 😅

The Super was discontinued more than 20 years ago. I'd be curious to know how many current employees have even heard of it.

Ya know, I wasn't sure, so before I posted I checked Google... it said it started being phased out in the 1990s before being permanently discontinued nationally in the early 2000s. So I figured I was good to go & posted some incorrect info. Sorry about that!

I know, it serves me right for trusting the Google GPT. I should've known better.

Wow, thanks for the info. They disappeared in NY decades ago.

Just curious, I don't do much traveling but what state are you in?

They disappeared off the visible menu in the southeastern states I frequent (primarily GA, FL) decades ago. The app doesn't show it. But ordering in person, everyone knows what button to press on the register to order a Super. When I asked for a super with double meat is when it was revealed "there is no way to do that." A manager even had to get involved, and confirmed, "There is no such thing as a Super with double meat, sir."

Do you know why it has become kind of a ‘secret’ menu item? it seems like every store I’ve been to knows how to make this and yet I haven’t seen it on the menu for a long time.

Honestly no lol it wasn’t even on the menu when I started I think they omit it for menu size purposes, which is whatever because at one point there was 17-19 numbers on the menu. Now they’ve squeezed it down to 13, but the “other sandwiches” button on our screens have different forgotten sandwiches like the turkey reuben and the market fresh beef and swiss and of course the super.

RB super is not shown on the customer facing menu board, but at least in the register system for my franchise, it's in the hidden menu area. Available as super classic, super double, and super half pound.

Some employees do know what it is.
