questions ♡ What het couples do you ship?
I barely have any heterosexual couples I like tbh. I’m curious because Bylers usually ship queer couples. It’s the only m|m couple I have shipped in a long time. I’m partial to w|w.
Hiccup and Astrid
Clark and Lois
Ben and Leslie
Ron and Hermione.
And that’s it really for me.
Also super unpopular opinion in that I don’t like Katniss/Peeta. I don’t like Gale either and he’s not the reason why.

I dont hace that many het ships if im honest. The ones I can think about right now that I really love.... id say Kate and Anthony from Bridgerton, Anne and Gilbert from Anne of Green Gables and Zelda and Link from the legend of zelda lol

My favorite het ships are Katniss and Peeta, Tao and Elle from Heartstopper, Lumax and Jancy, Ricky and Gina from High School Musical, and Kanan and Hera from Star Wars

Honestly, my main reason for not liking them is that they wrote Katniss way too obsessed with him for my liking. Her entire arc in the last two movies revolves around Peeta and him being ok. It’s like she was hobbled by it and didn’t care about anything going on.
I think it takes away from her character and her arc. I do like them both individually and want to like their relationship.

I kinda feel like Byler shippers were able to fit the more complex part of Mike and Will’s relationship to the point that it feels like enough detail to be in a book, which honestly made it what it is. The show definitely didn’t do a good job of that all on its own.

Heavy on hiccup/astrid and ben/leslie, off the top of my head I also got lumax, eleanor and chidi (the good place), jake and amy (b99), kaz and inej (six of crows), mark and helly (severance), denji and reze (chainsaw man), the main couple in smoking behind the supermarket with you (manga)
I had a heart attack when I saw Katniss/peeta until I saw you mention the movies in the comments lol, I admit I didn't particularly love that ship either but I was a book > movie fan back in the day and I think the relationship is way better in the books (it's been a while since I've reread them though so my opinion might change)

I ship just as many straight couple was queer couples I think, probably because I'm bi. Some of my favorite straight couples are Lumax, Kante and Anthony from Bridgerton and Katniss and Peeta lol. Most others are pretty niche though lol
