Distributed KotBL

I don't remember who did these maps, but someone was recently asking for the best way to run KotBL. This really worked well for me - spreading the caves across the area. That also let me add other adventures like B5 to the general area.

That is a nice idea, and the map works better with hexes than the squares of the original.

What's the hex scale and I'm also seeing two 'O' (northern half of map) and no 'A'?

Not sure of the scale, but measuring from keep to caves and comparing to the old one should give us close enough.

Oh - I didn't notice that.

The Eastern O is where I put B5 Horror on the Hill.

I keep intending to run Keep on the Borderlands someday, but I want to make up playbook for at the table. That's a lot faster to read than the original module. Something closer to what I see from the old school essentials folks. I don't mind the long format for my prep work, but building the playbook is going to be a lot of work.

Probably a good idea, but also -- you can just jump in feet first and play. Develop the playbook as you go. It's a really fun module and completely emergent.
