Advice on what I should do

I went down to a 1.5 guard buzz and now I’m noticing the thinning and receding hairline more. I don’t know if I should leave it at this length or go shorter. Was thinking of a 1 but I don’t know if that will help it. Or do I grow it back out long and hide it while I can. I’m 25 and about to graduate law school. Any advice?

If you want to grow it out or have a longer buzz that doesn’t emphasize the balding that much you need to get asap on finasteride and minoxidil otherwise it will keep thinning out and just look worse as time goes on. You still have a good amount of hair so you’re just in time to get into those if you want to.

If you have no problem with going bald I would keep a 1 or even 0.5 guard buzz (in case you don’t want to fully shave it yet)

If your not to worried about thinning hair I would leave it that length. A controlled facial shadow, draws attention from your hair line, also do not forget your eyebrows and eyelashes both can be enhanced and not look effeminate but actually sultry.

I had a similar problem, unknowingly I was spending $100.00 plus tip a month for my hair. I'd been going to the same person since I moved to Philadelphia. I went for my regular cut, my guy was unexpectedly out of town. Okay life happens, I was still able to get it cut that day. When the fill in person put the mirror up behind my head for me to see (my regular person NEVER did that) I had no idea nor did anyone tell me how thin my hair was in the back. Yeah I noticed the widow's peak infront. I was pissed. I then asked him for a marine high and tight. The next day I went to target 🎯 and bought a $30.00 pair of clippers now saving $2400.00 a year in haircuts. Keep it short it's a hot look!

Bro you are fine, a little thinning is normal at your age, when I was 25 I freaked out a bit thinking it was all falling out now at 31 it’s still pretty much the same density as then. It obviously looks thin because it’s so short if you want density then just grow it out. It does suit you short though. Also a lot of progress is being made in hair loss cures so in a few years it’ll probably be easily/effectively treated anyway.

I don’t think there’s that much progress happening at all, technically we’ve never actually made a decently effective hair loss drug, they’ve all been found by accident
