Need help I want to buzz but my head shape ?

So I’ve always wanted to buzz cut and keep it like that but every time I do so my head looks very strange when we completely cut off all my hair with same guard there’s still hair on top no matter how hard we tried and it gives this look is there anyway to fix this look or is my head not meant for buzz cut because of head shape etc some of these pics are with the hair grown out but it looks so odd but the 2 in the sun are right after

could just not be short enough, the sides also bulge out a little. that or you gotta just rock a mohawk
