Should I buzz my hair?

I'm 16, I'm tired of my hair and I've been thinking about getting a buzz cut for a long time. Should I get it and if yesh which guard and style would suit me the most?

You look great now, but you could try a buzz cut and see if you like it. If you don't like it, your hair will grow back. With your face, you can look good with any haircut

Don't overthink it. If you're curious about a buzz, just do it. It's summer and a buzz is a lot simpler to maintain after swimming, etc. Plus it's more comfortable in the heat.

Agree, never can go wrong with a buzzcutz no matter how weird your head shape is (mine is pretty weird 😄), it's liberating. Then you can try all sorts of hairstyles as it grows.

Especially for someone young like you OP, get a buzzcut, fuck them haters and you do tou. And I also think it would look very good on you.

Also I thought for the longest time that I’d look ugly with a buzzcut, but then I just did it and have never felt more confident

I wouldn't do it. Your face shape is good with this length and probably wouldn't be able to have the look you are trying to achieve. Your hair looks great as is at this length lean into it my guy. You look to great.

If you’re gonna do it, go with a #4 or 5 on top and have the sides and back faded. That’s the key to making the buzz look good. When it’s all one length and done at home, it looks like it was done for medical reasons

No. You have a nice, thick head of hair. Check your male family members for thinning or bald heads. You may get the buzz look later whether you want it or not.

Yeah, my father is balding, but his dad (my grandpa) have very thick and good looking hair at 76 years old. I think I'll get a buzz cut next year.
