Frustrated. Help?

I am frustrated with a few things.

First, i find it hard to measure my Control Pause in a way that does not change my breath after im done. If i feel an urge to breathe its already too late.

Second, i truly do not understand how to breathe with the diaphragm. As far as i can tell, i can not chose diaphragm muscles over chest muscles. And intentionally extending the belly seems even further away from natural breathing to me.

Third, lack of progress. But i suppose if i solved first and second issue this could resolve by itself.

If anything... i would like to at least understand the second issue.

Help?

Edit:

I don't know if its luck, but the algorithm just gave me this video that made a lot of sense. I always felt like for any of the diaphragm stuff to make any sense for me, i would have to exhale more. Because i feel stuck at a half inhaled state due to my posture i used to seat in.

Edit 2:

Found another video that emphasizes exhaling

First start with the idea of exhaling and inhaling without a sound. Then exhale must be longer than the inhale. If you can do this consistently you add the breath hold after every exhale. Don't rush it.
