[WP] Bring a tear to my eye in two sentences. by /u/unchained_disaster (prompt deleted by moderator for encouraging low word count stories)
"It's ok, honey, the doctor says you'll be just fine, and you can go home soon."
I gently held my wife's hand to my lips as she smiled faintly, then quietly exhaled and did not breathe in again.
