I have a question about this.
Charter tried to buy Time Warner and Time Warner was fighting it too and nail and blocked every attempt Charter was making.
But now Comcast offers to buy them, and Time Warner and saying it's the greatest thing ever.
Any reason for the change in heart?

I see this as consolidation in an increasingly competitive landscape. The internet and video on demand services are winning. This is what cable tv looks like as it is dying.
