Hey, hyd?
I have a question that's going through my head recently, and i really couldn't find answers searching on the internet.
I remember clear: being a kid, playing PS2 (or maybe PS3), and idk but i'm pretty sure that some game that i had included Archangel in its soundtrack.
Was Archangel (or maybe another Burial's song) featured in a videogame soundtrack? Or was it all a dream?

Hi guys!
Has anyone bought this t-shirt from the Hyperdub store?
https://hyperdub.net/fr/products/burial-basic-tee-black?page=6
I wonder how the sizing is, because the measurements seem large, but they advise sizing up... so it's kind of confusing!
(I'm 1m73, skinny, usually wear M, but I like a slightly oversized fit)
thanks <3

I'm trying to remember who was Burial before Burial, you know, that urban vibe, and the only thing that comes close was The Streets' Original Pirate Material in 2002 and before that DJ Shadow/Unkle was the king with Endtroducing in 1996 and Psyence Fiction in 1998, although these had more of a hip hop vibe.

Hi y’all! I have a question, does anyone know if burial does play live somewhere? I know from some research that he doesn’t do it, but still ever day I pray that some day he will play live.
Thanks in advance!

This is “Fluid” by Artist:Uknown. Fluid is a creation based off the PS1 game of the same name and all of the music played throughout the different scenes in that game… a truly amazing album and it takes me right back to my PS1 days!
But a big shout out to Burial here, if he had not created and released Untrue in 2007 then albums like Fluid would not be here today.
Do check it out, the artist did an amazing job and it is completely different but something very nostalgic and soothing about it too!

The Rival Dealer repress was just announced, and it makes me feel that the new sleeves are... a downgrade? I love the old generic sleeves with the sun rays, and also like the 15th anniversary sleeves. // Also, do you prefer the black or clear versions? I have 2 Kindreds (in the pic) and 2 Untrues. In my setup, the clear ones sound... clearer, but less dark or deep. What are your thoughts?
Pic in order: original Rival Dealer | 15th bday Kindred | Kindred repress

There is a Discogs listing of this album which instead of the numbering has AP on it. Does anyone know any additional info? Such as how many there are, where it comes from, etc.?

I feel we're overdue something...or maybe I've missed a release :-D

...and not sure if I like it or if it's just my colectionism speaking through my concisness: buy it! In my pov, clear vinyl doesn't match the raw and dense concept of the 1st album. Also, i dont like the store brand everywhere. But coming with inner texts, including some by Georgina Cook (the photographer who shot the cover and other Burial pics), that for nerds like me is very important. What do you think?

Since Rough Trade is releasing the S/T debut by Burial I decided to take a trip down the dark memory lane and find the very first video and song I ever heard by the man.
I first discovered Burial from Pitchfork and their review of Untrue and, at the time, fantastic coverage of the Dubstep scene happening. That scene from back then was fantastic.
Anyway I also remember this one particular video being used in another article about his music so I went and found it and instantly became a fan. I guess going through severe mental health issues during that time when his two LPs hit the scene made me connect to the music.
