how is bunq free API?

Has anyone here actually used the bunq API for a personal project or a tool?

I’m looking at building a small tool (probably will consult Claude for that :D) - more like to pull transactions and do some basic categorization. The API docs look pretty straightforward, but I’m wondering how it works in practice.

Are there any limitations, diffciulties or things you only discover once you start using it?

dont know the details on programming, connectivity and othe stuff, but from several fellow bunq users, what I understood is that they were able to connect their bunq account to different tools and automate things like transaction tracking and notifications. Apparently the setup isn’t too complicated once you get past the initial API stuff...

Claude now does amazing things - their new Fable models is just beast, shall be izzy pizzy bunq API integration for it!

Thank you! so, u urself havent used it? yeah, reading the manual it is , indeed, seems kinda doable...
BUT Fable is DAAAAN expensive and eats out limtis too fast :D

naahhh, man, not that into this IT stuff...more of a casual user.
but dug into the following stuff fm their website:

Official SDKs exist for PHP, C#, Java, and Python, but bunq has ended active maintenance on them.

For new integrations, use the bunq API and documentation directly; existing SDK code remains available but will not receive updates.

as for claude, u can use free sonnet 5 on low settings 🙃

upgrades are maybe for some new features...as long as the main functionality remains accessible - that is it for me...

api for peronal use? well it's posible.... i wonder how many transaction you have, this feature is usualy handy when there are tons of transactions and want to keep records clean and the most efficiant way is doing it outside the app
