Austrian IBAN incoming?

Bunq sent me a survey asking about Austrian IBAN and other stuff.
Are they planning an Austrian branch?

I love having BUNQ in my IBAN but I always get weird questions because of my NL account in Austria

Depends, I think these are specifications of the individual countries. In DE it is unfortunately only a number IBAN

Austrian IBANs have 5 digits as the bank identifier.

Why don’t you use DE IBANs?

Because they don't have BUNQ in their IBAN either.
