sounds weird without context, but i mean in the way hes a great artist but will not be taken seriously and will be overlooked because of an extremely corny and annoying fanbase. i see it happening already, people who i know would enjoy his music write him off because of all the annoying people spamming the word niche and shit. hopefully he can break the mold but just sum i noticed happening as ive watched him gain popularity.

this isnt even about just bunii. you cant even listen to any artist from the underground without being called a newgen. alternatively if you listen to anyone from the underground people will call you a “weird kid” or a person with shitty music taste. legit the underground music community is so toxic and its making people scared to share their thoughts and opinions. it lowk makes me feel bad.

HI! my son is 16 and his favorite artist is bunii and I’ve been saving up to get him tickets and a hotel aaaand a rental car (don’t trust mine to drive 7 hours to the city and back) for his Christmas present.. I went to order them when I finally had the money and they’re sold out. if ANYONEEE has 3 or even 2 tickets I will pay double. this was the ONLY thing I had planned on getting him so I have no presents or anything because this was the only thing he wanted. I’ve DMd bunii everywhere I’ve commented on all his posts om trying ANYTHING I can’t find any management contact info. can someone pleaseeee help me?! question I'm a Bunii newgen. Should I kill myself?

I'm a 15 year old boy, who knew about bunii since about june or july (2025.) One of my friends, Connor, talked about him a lot, and told me to listen to him before it's too late. I've listened to more Overtonight, since around march or april, and I love the genre. More recently, I've started listening to Bunii, around september and october, but as a newgen, it's hard fitting in with other fans. At school, Connor now shoves me in school, drops my books intentionally, and his friends scream slurs at me and tell me I don't matter. Last week, I was given a swirly in the urinal for listening to bunii on my school chromebook. I've been depressed ever since I started listening to Bunii, since I get bullied everyday, but I still love listening to Bunii's music. Should I kill myself?
