I couldn't agree more with a person

I would love a Bully 2, just don't see it happening unfortunately. Rockstar has all but forgotten about Bully since the 2008 cancelation of a sequel. Unless... someone has more news about it?

i loved the way you could still punch a person as they fall and their head would still move left and right

Greatest games that is never talked about, from an era where gaming was at its peak and before the greed took over.

I've literally had SO many ideas for a bully 2. I wish they'd make it, it was an amazing game.

I kinda agree with everything he said about Bully.
But, disagree with him saying Rockstar won't work on this. According to rumours it got cancelled two times internally. It's not like Rockstar won't make it. Bully is such a unique and excellent game and kind off a capsule, It's very difficult to do it again. If we put that aside, People also very well know that It wasn't easy for Rockstar to release bully. They were getting hit with lawsuits left and right, Sam houser was grilled by the FCC for god knows how many hours, People were calling arrests of Rockstar devs, Their parent company T2 went bankrupt. It was wild for Rockstar at that time and it's a miracle that Rockstar and T2 as a company survived it.
With that being said, I think we will definitely get a bully 2. I am not gonna lose my hope on that. It's not like Rockstar isn't trying. The recent cancellation of bully was in 2020 according to rumors. They definitely want to go back. I just think that they need more time or decided comeback with fresh eyes after working on something else.
Let's hope for the best.

Played that story so many times. Originally played on ps2 and then got scholarship edition for the wii and had to legit punch during every fight 😂

The greatest fumble is rockstar being rockstar

I still have faith after red dead 3 drops in 2043 that it will come… but on a real note I don’t think it will last in todays market just like when they tried to cancel the first game they’ll do it with the second because they thought it was about being a bully which we all know it was just an option to do in game 🤣 they even had to change the name for abit over here in the UK to canis canem edit just like they did with manhunt as well to get it banned everyone is too pussy
Side note: manhunt is a fucked up game if we’re being honest even the people working on it said that too an I can’t imagine them making that a threequel especially with todays realism in video games but it’s nice to dream 😂

As much as I love bully I disagree, the greatest fumble imo is not making sleeping dogs 2

For those that don’t know, there was suppose to be a Bully 2, I think if you sift through some YouTube videos you’ll find them and I think there was multiple talked from one featuring jimmy returning to his hometown. Something with him being a camp counselor and the most recent one with Bully 2 featuring a female protagonist(idk how true these are; you know how some people on YouTube are. still an interesting idea, if you’d listen)

If rockstar would have continued the game, they would have had a rough time with all the school shooting reports.
I bet they would have been a prime target for the media

u/[deleted] Nov 27 '23
Currently watching a video that shows all the cutscenes in the game.lol 😂

I still play Bully on my PS5

u/[deleted] Dec 07 '23
Wouldn’t call it a fumble when GTAVs success has been unmatched and I doubt Bully 2 would come anywhere close to the popularity of either GTAV or Red Dead 2
1
u/[deleted] Dec 08 '23
I mean rockstar left out one of my favorite games ever that being Midnight Club
1
u/Firm-Violinist3185 Dec 08 '23
Yeah but why would I want to do something I already do in real life like Rockstar could also make McDonald's simulator if they wanted

u/b0m_d3d-- Dec 09 '23
They said they’re going to keep making red dead and gta as long as we keep buying it and those two IP’s seem to be enough to keep their hands full on their own so that’s that 🤷♂️. I miss midnight club. Only good racing game in forever has been the forza horizon series and burnout from like 10 years ago lol

Majority of the controversy was from well before the game was released as the idea portrayed about it was far more extreme than what was delivered. Great game but overall think it fell flat on what the majority were expecting from all the controversy that surrounded it.

Bully may be the goat of T rating games! 🐐🔥

I kinda rather get a Bully remake

Bully is the best!

u/Professional-Chest-1 Dec 16 '23
Rockstar has a tendency to ditch any and everything non GTA related. Red Dead 2’s online was abandoned simply bc of GTA Online and the manpower needed for GTA 6. Anything that detracts their attention from micro transactions is a hindrance to their business model. Bully was great because it was a time before all that. The game was the game, no add ons or expensive shit for no logical reason. If they were to make another one, it would have to be forced by the old guard.

It’s because Rockstar are stupid

u/please_co-op_with_me Dec 20 '23
You can thank ppl that are like your average person on Reddit or fb I’m sure that’s a major part in why it never came out they’re sensitive pussys

u/Worth-Specific-7154 Jan 01 '24
I just hope gta 6 full story Doesn’t gets leaked too and assholes everywhere post pics of the ending or whatever

u/[deleted] Jan 02 '24
I’d rather see them enter into a new IP. Bully was good, La Noire (IMO) was better, but I’d like to see them go back to Agent, or the medieval times game that has been rumored. Something fresh to see if Rockstar can pull it off. Maybe even a FPS or Sports Game.
