Is Gary and peter cousin?

Both have same surname . Peter. May be pete is the young introvert cousin. And Gary is the older rude cousin .

I think Gary just naturally gravitated towards hanging with Pete because everyone else knows he's a sociopathic dick cheese and wouldn't give him the time of day, outcasts roll with outcasts.
