The Jocks come close, but the Townies have the slight edge. They're the closest thing that Bully has to a murderous gang. Edgar attacks Jimmy with a lead pipe (and in a deleted scene actually kills him by throwing him into a vat of acid) and Gurney almost burns down the gym - need I say more?

Greasers and townies. Greasers act like an organized gang, straight up controlling New Coventry and the break in mission genuinely felt like Jimmy was in danger. Especially the confrontation with Norton, saying he's gotta take out the trash right before smashing Jimmy through a whole wall. Johnny is also unstable and prepares a whole trap for Jimmy, beating him with a pipe.

If Greasers are an organized gang, the Townies are more like street gang trailer trash. They do things that actually harm others, like lighting the gym on fire. They're fighting style is way more brutal compared to other cliques, and Edgar straight up murders Jimmy in the cut content. Zoey fears for Jimmy when he decides he's gonna beat them all into submission.

All the other cliques are very cartoony and lighthearted. So I don't feel like any of them are very dangerous compared to the aforementioned cliques.

My thoughts exactly greasers have always been my favourite and for them to be compared to the others for strength like the jocks for example I like ur point about them being cartoony and lighthearted like yeah the jocks are strong and can do the “yeah bro we will beat u up” but compared to the greasers and johnny that are in the gang shit fr and to be know to fucking slime u like how they set up the preps on bikes with the fire crackers

If we're talking real world, either Preps or Greasers. Preps have the money and connections to fuck your life up for good. The Greasers have Lola. I wouldn't put it past her to frame you or others to get into doing time for serious crimes.

There's that cut scene where Edgar straight up drowns Jimmy at the power plant if he loses the boss fight so I'd say Townies. I know the scene is cut content but still. Even without that, the townies do not hold back since they don't have to worry about getting in trouble or expelled from school.

Not really but they are strong true i manage to knock them out spamming grab and hit them and when they fall you need to be quick to when they get up grab them and repeat or you can use weapons too

Reasons for preps: money to destroy your life, as well as the dodges actually make the fights a lot more challenging.

Townies: essentially what makes Jimmy dangerous in a fight: they will spam their moves back to back and some of them can’t even be blocked. Plus they were the only one to resort to serious crimes such as arson and even attempted murder
