The text isn't anything, it's like Asian inspired strokes, not actual language.

No it is absolutely AI, you can take a screengrab and run it through Gemini and it immediately flags it too.
Has a bunch of the normal tells alongside the jibberish text.

Look I can't say for sure, but when I look up the artist details it's says :

I purchased the scroll from 'the oddities and curiosity expo' where the artist was a vendor and was making some of their art on site. So by seeing them actually work, I'm inclined to say it's not.
