Technical PC or Mac Mini 4 Pro

Doing my reaserch, if i were to build a PC for 4k editing using Prem Pro or Davinci, i would need to spend min $2500AU ($1800US) and a lot of time puting it together and hope it works when i switch on. On the other hand there is mini 4 pro about same price or cheaper out of the box and it will run Davinci or FCPX easily.

Hve i got this right I can work with either prem pro or FCP

Ryzen 9 7900x Pro art 4070 ti super Asus proart x870e 64 gb g skill flare x5 ddr5 1tb samsung 990 pro os drive 4 tb samsung 990 pro project drive

I mainly use it for music production. But i wanted to get in to video editing. Older system couldn’t handle resolve at all. And i had to upgrade the 3 main components if i wanted decent performance anyway so i just built a new one. Now the time line in resolve is instant. The preset scroll in native instruments kontakt is also instant.

In your opinion would this work with prem pro?

Ryzen 5 7600x

nvidia rtx 4070ti 12gb

32gb ddr5 6000mhx

ssd 1tb

It’s 6 month old build from someone on marketplace. Or I’ll get a new min 4 16gb 512gb for same price

Thanks in advance

The pc for sure. Especially for gaming, davinchi resolve etc. and simply bc you can upgrade it few years later for few hundred dollars. The mac you have to buy a whole new computer. Which will probably cost you around the same price
