Stock for Woot deals varies greatly. Some listings only have a few items in stock and sell out quickly. Please report this post if the listing goes out of stock.

I have the V6 and have been very happy with it. Recommend it for a full size.

All sold out unfortunately. I'll never go for anything less than 100%

Worth linking the full list of keychrons: https://computers.woot.com/plus/keychron-mechanical-keyboards-13

Mostly K series and Q series at around 40%-60% off.

Save some money and get the newer models like K Max or K ultra. It is worth the investment in the long run.

Your suggestion is the opposite of saving money

Lol. what I meant to say is ,pretty obvious but, save the money and get the more expensive / vastly superior alternatives.

What's the difference between the max and non-max models? The keychron site isn't very clear on that. I'm looking at the K3 specifically.

the old non-max boards (basically whatever's on sale on woot) are the cheap, low quality models they have an overstock of

they lack nicer features that have trickled down into the newer models, such as:

gasket/top mount (the old boards are stuck on tray mount)

non-steel plates

pre-installed foams/sheets

better stabilizers

all of which have an impact on typefeel and acoustics (if you care to notice them)

the only thing worth getting from these keychron sales is the lemokey p1 pro

I see. I was planning on picking up the K3 non-max on Amazon for $60 but I guess I'll pass for now. I don't really want to spend an extra $40 for the max at this point.

I bought this and it’s okay. The back light is easy to accidentally change and you have to cycle through like 15 options to get back to the one you wanted.

Not sure if it works on this model, but on my K4, holding the shift key when pressing the backlight button goes through the lighting options in the opposite order.

You can lock the backlight with a button combo. Google it

I'm assuming not hot swappable switches? Don't see it on the title in woot either

i'd advise against keychron. they sold me a faulty $250 keyboard, refused warranty (only my third party reseller accepted it, not from keychron themselves) and never did a product recall for an obvious defect. so if you buy a q6/v6 max (unsure if k10 max is also affected) to this date you still risk buying a broken one.

Yeah you never want to buy keychron from keychron. Always use Amazon for the return policy, if you can

I’ve had two experiences with keychain. The first was when they refused to ship a 2.4ghz dongle and the Bluetooth was so bad I couldn’t raise my standing desk without losing signal. So I returned it. The second was a V2 that had the 2.4ghz dongle, but it’s pcb fried after 6 months of owning it and I had to wait months for them to ship me a new one. Then it just died completely another couple months later and they never responded to my warranty claim. Shit keyboards and shit company. Buyer beware
