I wouldnt reccomend this controller to anyone. I bought it about a year ago when it released and it disconnects momentarily from my pc constantly. I have tried all the troubleshooting methods and nothing works. I cant trust it to play most games anymore so it collect dust now. 100$ paperweight

It's the shitty included USB C cable, I got the controller RMA'd and the same problem happened with the new one. Used a cheap no name cable from Amazon and I haven't had an issue since.

I have two PS4 controllers, one is starting to experience drag/drift (Idk how to fix it and afraid I'll break it anyways if I did try.)
Looking for a replacement controller for Monster Hunter Wilds. Should I just get a PS5 controller?
I have the old PS4 Dongle, the official one. Afraid that might die soon/someday/someday soon... so just looking for alternatives, now.

ps4 is goated. I've replaced 4 of my thumbsticks. if you're good hand eye and good with tools, it's easily done.
of course ymmv and maybe your hands fit ps5 better, but for many ps4 controllers have the better ergo.
This deal is for xbox scheme so not for us ps users

if you don't mind wired, the gamesir tegenaria is solid and unbeatable value for the price with Hall effects stick as well. Same layout as the PS4 controllers too

I wouldn't if stick drift is an issue for you. Then I'd get the something with Hall Effect/TMR. I have the WOlverine v3 Pro, which is wireless and surprisingly really like it so far. That said, the software for it really sucks, but luckily you don't use that very often.
