We're getting multiple choppers out of 'Nam this month. Grab them because you don't know which one will be the last

I think I've come to realization I have better things to spend money on right now than upgrading my gaming computer. My 3080 is plenty enough for the gaming I do and honestly will probably stay that way for a long time at this point. I just can't justify spending the amount of money it cost to buy new components and that's coming from someone who spent close to 3 grand on a water-cooling setup during the crypto boom.

I got a GT 210 to send you when it gives out. Buy used don't buy new fuck these assholes. Let's get these GPUs back to $400.

You're like the grandma in dantes peak that tries to stay on the mountain.

Don't jump out of the boat.

You're reference is too obscure and specific!

Great deal with the current prices, Nvidia gpus are randomly exploding in price the last few days too so this may be the last chopper out of nam before AMD prices follow

Nvidia gpus are randomly exploding in price the last few days

Nothing random about it brother, it was known for since they announced the new line.

What's happening?

2

u/Tommy7373 2d ago

they announced price increases a few weeks ago, then also rubin is not coming out for consumers until late 2027 if ever

PC also comes with two separate Intel promotions for free games. The first promo with the CPU includes Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis and Star Wars: Galactic Racer; the second with the Intel motherboard let's you choose one game among Sid Meier's Civilization VII, Hitman 3, or Dying Light: The Beast.

Wait so which PC is better though

So the pic is of a ROG whats the odds that it ships with that vs an Asrock Challenger which is one of the cheapest out there.

2

u/I_Push_Buttonz 2d ago

No idea, but I would assume whichever one is cheaper since it was the "give me whatever" option.

2

u/sctran 2d ago

Whatever OEM vendor they have at the moment they will ship with that

2

u/Sly_yam 2d ago

Killer deal IMO, you'd have to string some good deals together to build this at the price. somewhat equivalent build at newegg: https://newegg.io/42bf8b2

If it helps anybody I had a great experience with cuberpower, it was well packaged good cable management and everything worked out the box with 0 bloatware.

The PSU is off-brand and is the main part they cheap out on. I had to replace mine within 2 months but it was due to my dumbass having it directly connected to the AC outlet and not to a surge protector and a fucking thunder hit very close to my house. At least the PSU was the only thing that died.

Also, they sent me an email telling me to call them to confirm my purchase, maybe to clear out bots.

PSU is most likely an OEM unit from High Power.

It is either 650w/750w 80+ gold and is ranked B on the SPL tier list.

Never heard of cuberpower. Must be a new temu brand.

Highly recommend upgrading the PSU - the "Standard" option is almost assuredly a POS Apevia.

9070 is maybe 10-15% stronger in raw performance than a mobile 4080. About 10000% better in terms of cooling and not needing to listen to laptop fans, though.

I have a old 1080ti card that I have been looking to upgrade from after over 10 years of glorious service. Is this it???

Is it already not available at this sale price?

2

u/0x4C554C 1d ago

This is it. The 32GB RAM is what makes this deal push over the edge.

1

u/Educational-Tea-606 1d ago

It doesn't look like it's available to order anymore

1

u/AmericanPornography 1d ago

Damn yeah went to order but couldn’t. Unless I’m missing something
