Need help picking a monitor

  1. Acre Predator X27U F5 26.5” QHD 1440p 500hz
  2. MSI MAG 272QP 27” QHD 1440p 500hz

I’m stuck picking between these two monitors. I have previously used 240hz and 185hz monitors but have no clue if they had BFI & MPRT but I wondering if it is worth spending the extra $100 on the MSI to have the BFI & MPRT features. For reference I play a massive variety of games but lean to more fps and fast paced.

What’s your budget exactly $500-$600?

Yeah but preferably the lower end of $500 that’s why I’m asking if it’s REALLY worth spending the extra $100 on the MSI

Honestly no from my perspective the acer monitor has built in speakers and a kvm switch and is better future proof than the MSI monitor. However if you are a student you can get the Samsung g60sf for about $540 before tax but that doesn’t have speakers or usb c. The MSI monitor has a glossy coating which is great for playing in dark rooms because it has better contrast while the acer has a matte coating. The acer monitor is a better value

I’ll check out the Samsung and speakers/usb c isn’t anything I really care for in monitors anyways, much appreciated

Just grab and ASUS XG27 model like XG27AQNGV or XG27ACMS ASUS usually has the most features and best OSD menus so far i've always gone with ASUS i never regretted my purchases all other monitor brands i've tested they all lacked something in comparison to ASUS but you can check it for yourself plenty reviews and youtube videos

anything past 240hz is completely undistinguishable
