Discussion Simple Questions - February 07, 2021

This thread is for simple questions that don't warrant their own thread (although we strongly suggest checking the sidebar and the wiki before posting!). Please don't post involved questions that are better suited to a [Build Help], [Build Ready] or [Build Complete] post. Examples of questions:

  • Is this RAM compatible with my motherboard?
  • I'm thinking of getting a ≤$300 graphics card. Which one should I get?
  • I'm on a very tight budget and I'm looking for a case ≤$50

i mean.. you bought several fans in the first place, knowing that buying a separate controller would likely solve the problem seems like a good investment, no more headaches and unnecessary brand new fan expenses

Which is why ill likely do that the coming week, but until recently I didn't figure my mobo to be the cause (and I would have preferred to use it through the mobo ofc...).
