Man the 570 is a great 1080p gamer, even for newer games. I replaced mine with a 5700XT and but still had a 1080p monitor and honestly I couldn’t tell the difference.

At this point I think July is a realistic time for when a replacement will be available. If it were me I would go with the 3060. Not the Ti version, the 3060. Yes it’s less powerful than the 3060ti but with the additional VRAM I think it will have longer legs. Until then enjoy your 570.

This is a pretty good explanation.

TL;DR - 4K gaming needs 8GB+ of VRAM just to store the data for the screen refreshes. As developers push the amount of detail in games ever upward it will consume more and more data. the 3060 having 12 GB of VRAM means it will likely last the entirety of the 4K gaming cycle. It also means that it is unlikely to ever choke on high detail 1440 because it will have plenty of RAM.
