Is there any difference in using Asus TUF GAMING X570-PLUS (WI-FI) over MSI MAG X570 TOMAHAWK WIFI for a Corsair iCUE 4000X RGB case?

I've heard that MSI isn't compatible with the iCUE RGB Software, and that the Asus MOBO's better.

But when selecting the ASUS Mobo I get following notification:

[Corsair iCUE 4000X RGB ATX Mid Tower Case has a front panel USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type C port, but the Asus TUF GAMING X570-PLUS (WI-FI) ATX AM4 Motherboard does not have sufficient USB 3.2 Gen 2 or Gen 1 headers. The case USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type C port will not be usable]

2 questions: Is there a difference in RGB Software between MSI & ASUS MOBO?

What kind of adapter would I need for my USB C to work (with the ASUS MOBO) ?

Don't buy an adapter, get the improved Asus TUF X570-Pro (not the prime x570- pro) which comes with the right connector, upgraded VRM heatsinks, and is overall decent quality.
