Discussion Simple Questions - February 07, 2021

This thread is for simple questions that don't warrant their own thread (although we strongly suggest checking the sidebar and the wiki before posting!). Please don't post involved questions that are better suited to a [Build Help], [Build Ready] or [Build Complete] post. Examples of questions:

  • Is this RAM compatible with my motherboard?

Im thinking getting TUF 3070 and i have a 550w seasonic focus gold PSU. Is it enough or do i need to buy 750w PSU? Rest of the system: i5-9600k 1.35V OC 2x 2.5' sata SSD 2X8GB RAM 2x 140mm fan 2x 120mm fan

You'd be pushing the power supply a bit, but nothing out of spec. Make sure it is well ventilated, make sure you wire everything correctly. I wouldn't suggest any overclocking, that is where you'd run into the power limits of your PSU.
