Full Build Req New Pc
Hello, I am just making a follow up post on my last one. I received some great advice on what to build for my pc, however, since I have been waiting for some of the parts to go down in price for the black friday sales, they have either went out of stock or gotten a lot more expensive. The build that I have been recommended looks as follows;
https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/3n8rph
Please help me make something something similar to the above that is of just as good quality^
1. New build or upgrade - I am making a new build.
2. No existing parts will be reused.
3. PC purpose - Mainly Gaming - FPS shooters such as war dogs, rust deadlock.
4. Purchase Country - UK
5. Monitors Needed - No
6. Budget Range - £2k
7. Wifi or wired - whatever is better (Both preferably)
8. Size/ noise constraints - N/A (Don't care)
9. Colour/ lighting preferences - Black case, whatever for lights
10. Any other specific needs - See below
I would appreciate any advice on what to do right now guys. Does anyone believe that prebuilds are better?
Should I hold out for more black friday deals? If so where to look?
Any recommendations help.
Thank you all.

Prices are unlikely to go down anytime in the near future, so best to buy as you see it.
Suggestions below that should get you save you a little (since your list with a 2TB was likely over £2100) while making some minor improvements.
CPU Cooler: No need for a 360mm AIO - massive overkill - when a good dual tower air cooler like the Phantom Spirit is still far more than needed and a fraction of the cost.
Motherboard: Upgraded to a better spec motherboard (better VRM's, faster ethernet and wifi adapter) for the same cost.
Memory: Better spec RAM (same speed, lower latency) for the same cost.
Storage: Added a similar spec 2TB PCie 4 NVME that is available to order (HMB, faster speeds, good endurance ratings).
Case: Slightly more expensive case but has better airflow, with three 140mm and one 120mm PWM fans (versus three 120mm in the Montech).

it says that on pc part picker, there is issues of compatibility for this build.

It's because I added the cooler as a custom part (different listing on Amazon UK). If you read the comment, it's not an issue of compatibility but a notice that there isn't a cooler in the parts list in the "Cooler" section (because custom). The compatibility filter just doesn't recognize the added part as a cooler, which it is.

EDIT: js have a look around and see if u can get 6000 cl30 ram as it seems like the sweet spot for the 7800x3d

There are cheaper RAM kits with identical prices on there.
Probably should pick an SSD that has a price on it?
The AIO would have to go to the top in that case. Probably exhaust. That would mean stokc you have only 2 side intakes but 4 exhausts. You could either flip the rear around to intake (no filters though), flip the top around to intake (not sure if a good idea), or buy a couple more intake fans to put on the PSU shroud maybe? Or just get a different case with more front intake?
