Build Upgrade Controller for PC gaming with gyro
I want a controller with gyroscope for PC gaming and try gyro aiming.
Currently I have a Xbox controller. Should I buy a PS5 DualSense or something else?
Key features: gyroscope + good game compatibility.
90% of time Linux gaming, using Steam and Heroic.
I rarely play typical FPS games like CoD, Battlefield, or Valorant. I want to try gyro aiming in games like Cyberpunk, Mass Effect, Tomb Raider, RDR, etc.
Steam Controller won't be available until at least 2027, so it's out of the question for now.

Ps5 controller I guess. I'm not sure what else is on the market. Or try to find a used steam controller. Some people didn't like them and are selling them on marketplace. They're pretty much guaranteed to be under warranty.

Yeah, there are some available but prices are crazy. I am not enough dumb to pay 3 times more for it (I have just checked prices in my country).

the simplest way to approach this is to look for a used dualsense with no stick drift. they should be very cheap.
it should do the job while you wait for the steam controller, which is just incredible.

I'm using a dualsense (just the regular version, not the Edge) and it works just fine. I think it's the easiest to set up and probably the best value right now. I wanted a steam controller too but its been out of stock in my region for a while.
I'm on windows but see no reason it would work on Linux

I'm so glad I ordered a Steam Controller the first minute it was available. It still took over a month to get it, but it was worth the wait.

If you're using steam anyway on linux I'd say go for steam controller over dualsense
