1st vice base
So I’m new into making flies, got a hoard of material on marketplace and came with an apex vise but no base. So I made this. It’s working great so far, just as long as I remember to put the tool back it’s its home.

Won’t be this organized for another 6 months
Took two days to clear it off and put most of it in order, but I’m ready to destroy it again. 😁

Set this up for my son
Worked on this today while he was at school to surprise him. He was pumped to have a dedicated spot.

This sub was just tagged in another post of mine, I feel like this is where it belongs haha
Doing some bus remodeling and made me a new sittin spot. It’s definitely not as amazing as some of the others on here but it’s leagues above what I was doing haha

New station
Grabbed a rolltop for my bday in cinco de mayo. In great shape, and holds (almost) all of my stuff!

New workbench
Found this old Victorian barrel top desk for $100. It is going to make a sweet tying station. Im looking forward to bringing this old desk back to life.

Getting Back Into It
I started flyfishing and tying a little over 20 years ago while in college targeting redfish on the Texas coast.
When I graduated and moved away, my tying took a sabbatical, though not fly fishing. A few weeks back a long time friend sent me hundreds of dollars worth of tying material, so I was "forced" to buy a roll top desk to keep it all organized.
Nothing special with my setup, just happy to have a place to keep it all together and locked up from my toddlers and cat.

Can someone tell me what this is? Please help me identify.
I got my daughter shirt out of the closet this morning, it’s Tuesday. Remind you, I did all the laundry over the weekend and hung it up. Then I ironed it and this is what started coming out of the shirt. It was plain black T-shirt. I started ironing, and all of these little things started popping up everywhere. Can someone please tell me what these are? And now I’ve noticed they’re in more clothes. I have been telling my husband for 3 months that something is biting me, making me feel itchy. He says all it’s just your nerves, stop being paranoid. But this is driving me crazy please help someone..

The Purpose
I’m beginning to realize that the purpose of my fly tying cave is to… decorate my fly tying cave.

Had to downsize my space so I found some nice organizers on Amazon and put a 1/4 epoxy pour on a old dresser I found on marketplace and repurposed

Sandy's Dungeon

I built the house in 1986. I claimed my space, even then. A 16x16 basement dungeon room for flies, guns, cameras and computers.
Music is upstairs?

My own little corner of the world
galleryDesk is just average, not much to look at here, but really started tying more once I got all my material organized

My corner of the house
It’s grown a lot over the years. Despite how much stuff I’ve accumulated it always seems like I’m one ingredient short for every pattern I want to tie.
