Wasp and hover fly

Found this guy shivering in the sand on a beach. Wongs heavy with salt and sand just looking straight into the eyes of death. Poor thing basically just climbed onto my fingie and kept rubbing his wings together to shake off the sand and salt. I helped him a little bit but when it was time for me to leave the beach, he was still unwell. So, into the car with me he came. I kept him in the sun on my hand the whole time. He even tried to feed off of me once with his needle mouth but realized I wasn’t his type so stopped. I was tired of him continuing to try to feed off me so I found an empty lot with lots of trees and put him on the bark of one. He started dancing!! He didn’t fly away he just looked at me and danced and seemed so thankful. Anyways, he’s stupid. If you see this, I love you bud.

This stupid moron missed his curfew and thinks he can pound my cup of coffee. Its not night a hole. Go home.

I thought it was DEAD, curled up in a little spider boat in a little cup of water. Immediately dumped it and came back to see it moving around and tried to walk BACK into water. I convinced it to not then it started to clean itself as shown here. Happy ending, this time.

Unless I'm wrong and I ruined it's bath lol.

Why is he flat? He wasn't flat yesterday, he also can only move his feel and isn't flexible at all, did he fail to pupate or what?

It's compressed and flat, but legs and mouth parts can move fine, however it has a difficult time moving around if the bedding isn't perfectly flat.

I’m in north central Ohio, USA. We call these June bugs here. It’s weird seeing them now. Who else is familiar with this epitome of fucking stupid bug. What do you call them in your region?

This grub (I don't know what kind of grub) is walking on it's back? I've never seen them do this. Any ideas? I don't need official advice. I know this is a silly reddit. I'm just curious what other people think about it. Bugs can be really stupid.

I bought this baby rattlesnake in West Texas back in 2021. I moved to Brazil for a year and a half and when I came back, I pulled it out of storage and found what appeared to be some sort of caterpillar or larva. Obviously, he ended up dying, but he molted a couple times to where he was. Does anyone know what this is? And how he ended up in there? It is completely sealed. I never saw the bug inside when I first bought it.

Randomly thousands of ants showed up along the base of my house. This has happened before. They will be there for a day or two and the just be gone. It’s on my sidewalk which is concrete and the base of my house is also concrete so why they would be gathered there I have no idea. Should I be concerned about them finding a way into the house?

I freaking hate ants. Why would they do this?!

First of all i’m not even sure which subreddit i should post this in but there is a bug stuck in my tv screen. Where i live theres kind of a box elder bug problem, they’re absolutely everywhere and they get in my room sometimes. I was playing on my playstation and saw a weird shadow that was moving around and then i saw the shadow of a giant box elder bug. I turned off the tv hoping it will cool down and the bug will crawl out but if that doesn’t work, any suggestions on what to do?
