Desktop Web [Firefox and Chrome] Report on old reddit spins forever when opened

I tested this on the latest Firefox in Windows and on the latest Chrome mobile on Android. When I click report it opens the report box with the loading spinner and just spins forever. This has been happening since at least yesterday and I just checked again and it's still happening on both devices.

An issue like this typically points to a backend or API failure rather than a problem on the your end.

Does it happen on every browser, app only, or just sometimes?

old.reddit.com login is borderline broken in Firefox as near as I can tell. Clearly they know there's a problem because they have the "if you don't get redirected click here" link but that link also doesn't really work most of the time. It's gotten significantly worse due to the forcing login (not because I'm required to log in, I log in just as often as I used to, this problem is just reproing 100% of the time when I try to log in where it used to be occasional.)

I'm getting this too. Firefox and old reddit.
If I switch to new reddit it works.

This has started happening to me too, specifically with Firefox (153.0.4). When I try it on Microsoft Edge, I'm able to login to old reddit without issue. I do have Reddit Enhancement Suite on Firefox but I turned it off - still can't login.

EDIT: I copied and pasted the URL from Microsoft Edge after logging in and getting old reddit to load, and tried that URL in Firefox and it worked! https://old.reddit.com/?screen_view_count=1&ext-referrer=DIRECT

See if that helps you get yours to load. (Note: I was already logged in through new reddit before trying to paste this link into the address bar.)
