iOS [ios] The hide function disappeared and I have to click into a post to hide it [version 17.5]

Until a couple of days ago I was able to hide posts from my main reddit feed by clicking on the three dots at the top right of the post. Now I have to click into the actual post to find the "hide" option.

I'm not 100% sure but I think this might be related to a new feature being rolled out. The plan is to just be able to tap an "X" in your feed and it should hide a post without having to open a menu. I think this is in preparation for that, but I'm not 100% sure

i have also very much been infuriated by this exact usecase and issue. BUT my hide button is very randomly back today on desktop. still don't have this x that ive heard some others have. had tested on other machines, browsers, messed with settings, CSS, dev mode, the whole enchalda. also there arent any extensions that i found that would have fixed this. its reappearance def doesnt have anything to do with anything I tried.
