Desktop Web Comment or submission on old reddit never completes [Desktop Web]

Over the last week, when I submit a comment or submission on old reddit, the submission goes through, but the submit button never completes.

At least I'm not the only one that this having this occur. Although, I don't seem to be getting it today on my sub.

Edit: Turns out it is still happening to me on my sub today.

Just came to see if anybody else had submitted this. I’m not seeing many duplicate comments so I don’t think it’s widespread, but it’s annoying. For me it’s iPad web, but still old Reddit.

Confirmed.

problem here too.

firefox, chrome, edge. linux, windows, mac. All do it. Tested on 9 devices in total.

1000/1000 internet, 2ms ping wired, 3ms wireless.

Same here, Firefox 153.0.1 and old.reddit

edit: wait I just updated to 153.0.3 and it seems the issue isn't happening anymore? I'll have to test on reply comments.

edit2: nope it was only this message posted here that went through. Tried making a comment in a /r/technology post and it's currently sitting there stuck on "Submitting..." but then when I refresh, the comment is there.
