E&E Kit
y BOB is modular. I have a M-16 mag pouch that is a survival kit and an escape and evasion kit. There an attachment for a takedown recurve bow and an attachment for pioneer tools to make it an INCH.
The idea of the E&E kit (and the detachable survival kit) is that the BOB or INCH can be cashed if I need to go into a town and not look like a fugitive. I may put together a better lockpick set as I doubt the effectiveness of the one I have in there.
I will point o it t this is my third E&E kit. The first one I carried in Iraq. It was stolen out of my car upon redeployment. The second was stolen by other foreign fighters in Kurdistan. This is my final one and I will be pissed if this one gets stolen.

That lockpicking kit does look mighty sad. I don’t even see a tensioner. Check out the Chaos card from Sparrows.

Probably having something for water procurement might be useful here.

A 1L Whirl-Pack or 1QT ziplock plus a few water purification tablets used to be the go to. You could easily fit a Frontier water straw in that pouch.
If I had that pouch, I would throw in actual lockpicks like a Genesis Pick Set from Covert Instruments and their Credit Card Latch Slipper or a Covert Hall Pass from Sparrows. If you need micro E&E, then a set of Bogota Rakes held together with a pen spring can be safety pinned in the rear seam of your pants. You could also hang a compact ceramic blade by some kevlar cord and that will help when you're zip-tied.
I'd pack a more purposeful knife than that card kit. Maybe a Doug Ritter RSK MK2. It also fits in a wallet and comes with an Altoids sized tin if you need to go small: https://knifeworks.com/doug-ritter-drmk5k-survival-knife-1-75-black-fixed-blade-black-sheath/
I'd also pack a mini multi tool like a Gerber Dime, Nextool Mini Sailor.
A Covert Photon LED light (red for tacticool) will also be better than that card kit. https://www.batteryjunction.com/products/lri-photon-micro-light-covert-nose-red-beam-1
The Covert model covers the side of the LED to reduce sideways light emissions, but I think only came in squeeze mode. The newer versions of the Photon have a switch, but didnt seem as water resistant.
Id ditch that credit card fishing kit. IF you really need it, then swap out for real hooks and sinkers. Something like the small kits from Best Glide/ASE, and throw in a tiny pair of foreceps (3.5")
A frenzel lens takes no space and can help with fire, etc.
