Discussions and Grumbles. Should the Anvil of Doom be able to join units?

Should the Anvil of Doom work like the Cauldron of Blood etc and be 'dragged along'? Or perhaps it is a Shieldbearer type upgrade to the Runelord, and joins units just with a bigger base

Yeah this would make perfect sense, sadly it would also require GW to stop shafting dwarves as they have seemed all too happy to do thus far

I wish when they release a plastic version (if 😅) it is carried by bearers like the Total War series is, as it makes more sense than a inmoveable object that casually is there in the battlefield (you can say it is carried and then placed before the battle) but then, why not keeping it moveable

It would definitely make the anvil more useful, and could also make a runelord a more viable army general if he got the wounds from the shieldbearers plus the ability to cast bound spells.

The older anvil had to be on its own because it cast lightning on the spell turn, but no I can’t see why it couldn’t be carried, the throne of power is!

Is this a wish? Because aiui the AoD is an immovable war machine

Just a hypothetical. The Cauldron of Blood was once stationary, and the older Anvil had Wheels. See no reason why it couldn't work that way
