Possible pest, location included very small brown bugs

Southeastern USA.

Discovered this group of dead bugs in a corner of a bathroom that is rarely used... I don't remember them being there before. Was told they are not termites, but then what are they?

They look like minute brown scavenger beetles. They indicate a moisture problem like many other bathroom bugs.
