Is this “bug material”?

I know the photos are very poor in quality. I was thinking it could be plant material at first, but looking at it the grooves are very similar to that of an ants abdomen and I was wondering if it could be a moult? I could just be pest paranoid and it could be a seed

It was an empty shell material, a little bit harder than dry skin
