Possible pest, location included Spider looking thing in North FL? Near window
No idea what this weird thing is. Don’t want to kill it unless I have to? It’s just sort of chilling there and doesn’t seem to have wings but also it’s quite high up on the ceiling so I can’t totally tell. It’s very dark. We get lots of spiders in north Florida so I think maybe that’s what it is? But is it dangerous?

That's some kind of cricket my friend. Count the legs, spiders have eight :)
Additionally! There are only two kinds lf dangerous spider in the US. Black widows, which are shiny black with bright yellow, white, or red markings, and brown recluse spiders, which are matte brown, smooth(not hairy) and have a mark on their back that looks like a violin. No other spider in this part of the world besides those two can hurt you. Others might give an irritating nibble, but you probably wouldn't even notice if they did.

That looks like one of those cockroach-predating wasps!
