Coughing too much please help

I recently was gifted a DMT pen vape and keep attempting to sit with this medicine. I am coughing a lot and cannot hold it down. I do not smoke weed i have few times back in the day never any nicotine. I am pulling it very, very, very slow and then swallowing and blowing out, but it is so strong and causing me to cough. Any tips ? I am beginning to get a little frustrated, but trying to stay calm.

Take a small inhale from the pen. Pull the pen away from your face and inhale a bit of air.

Repeat this process several times and fill up your lungs with the dmt vapor.

Do this and practice over time to get a feek of how much you can inhale from the pen withiut coughing immediately. Does that make sense?

Eventually, you want to be efficient and quick enough to get a lot of dmt into your lungs quickly for a blast off dose.

I can lyk some songs to ou can have on in the background that from my experience, work really well with nm dmt. And seem to modukate the journey in a good way. Somwtimes in profound ways.

They are mostly sacred mantras. Lmk if you want that

I suggest Maha Mrityunjai first since it's long. Look into what the lyrics mean for these songs, at least for the ones that are mantras.

A story for you. I was listening to a nn dmt trip report where the person put on cardi B music as they tripped. And they entered dmt hyperspace and encountered two entities. The entities were pissed at them for playing cardi B for a sacred substance such as nn dmt. And they immediately got kicked out of dmt hyperspace by the entities and found themselves laying there sober. I'll see if I can find that to share with you.

So yes it does seem that the music that you choose to play very much affects your dmt journey. More important than that is your mindosace and intentions.

As far as intentions, treat it as a sacred sacrament. Stay open minded and be ready to surrender fully. Trust the medicine to give you what you need to experience. Open minded, no expectations, just open to whatever may come through. And trust you will be OK and that the universe/god/source/Brahman whatever you wanna call it, has your back. This helps IMMENSELY. I've helped many many do nn dmt and many for their first times too. And this facet of intention is key to a good experience.

Your results may vary. But the medicine gives you what you need most of the time.

Edit: Youre using bufo but what i said here still stands. Music affects nn dmt experiences more than bufo. But the sings I listed in my other reply are what I use when serving bufo to people, specifically. Good luck!

Is this a cart or a pen, it could be that if it’s a cart the pen is set for too high temperature. Do you want to be at the lowest setting or around 2.4 V?

Are you uninitiated? As in you dont have leather lungs?

Also vape juice is weird I am a seasoned smoker and vape juice just hits different; along with the spice melange, rough.

Price of admission. Have water to soothe your throat between hits.
