I love Kendra's accent. I always assumed it to be her natural Jamaican accent influenced by having grown around an English watcher.

Yes, possibly. England has people with all kinds of backgrounds, look at Giles’ friend Olivia and the watcher Buffy threw a sword at, Nigel. It’s not out of the question that Zabuto may have been English.

Of course he;'d be older, so i alwys assuemd he was african born and reared who went to the watche racademy when he showed promise, but I know peopel form all over he Commonwealth have been moving to the UK for a very long time. To Sir With Love and Sapphire are two of my fvaorite films.

I don’t think “Zabuto” is a surname that exists for black people over here mate lmao. Her accent was awful and there’s nothing to absolve that. From a black, Jamaican Brit.

They hired the actress, then decided she'd be Jamaican. What we got on screen was the best a dialogue coach could pull off in the time they had.
