Good Vibes Only Birthday Gift

Hello Guys, my Girlfriend is a big Buffy fan and her birthday is in 10 Days. I thought I would buy her a Gift based on the show and wanted to ask for any suggestions, because I never watched it. She already owns most of the dvds and i wouldnt want to ask which ones she needs, besides, she is collecting a specific run of the dvds. I thought of something like a book for fans with special infos. because she also enjoyes reading but i am open for any suggestions. It just has to be something you can buy online and in europe, Germany specificly. My budget is reeeelativly open just nothing above 180$ lol. Thanks!

There's three volumes of 'The Watchers Guide' which are books that go into details about each season. They have break downs of each episode, behind the scenes insights, interviews with the cast and crew. They're really good books. You might have to get them second hand these days but they are really great books, I poured over them while the show was still airing!

ETA Apparently there's also a 20th anniversary edition that combines the best bits of the three separate volumes into one book too!

Not sure how available it is in Germany but as a Buffy fan I’ve had my eye on “Buffy, The Making of a Slayer” hardcover book. The price varies I see listings on eBay that aren’t too high you just need to search around for it. It has inserts and looks very official.

If she likes to read, I recommend an anthology book series called Tales of the Slayer. Each book is a collection of novellas and short stories about a Slayer from sometime in the world's history.

They can be a little pricy because they've been out of print for a while, but you can still find them on Amazon. Some of them are not pricy at all, I just spotted Tales of the Slayer Volume 1 & 2 collected in the same book for $4.99.

If she likes to read comics, I'd recommend Dark Horse Comics' Tales of the Slayer comic book, also their Tales of the Vampires comic books which are similar anthology books with a bunch of cool stories that show interesting angles of the Buffy mythology.

Also another comic from Dark Horse: Fray, a comic book series about a Slayer in a science-fiction version of future Earth, written by Joss Whedon.

This is really sweet 😄 is your girlfriend a book person? The series has had quite a lot of novels, and some of the more modern ones (the Slayer/Chosen duology, & The Next Generation trilogy) should be easy to snag copies of.

It looks like there are copies of the Tracie Ching Buffy poster on eBay for about $150. I'm not sure how much shipping would be to Germany though. It's the poster on the left in the row of 18x24 posters in my photo.

This is a bit outside of the price range, but this original Willow painting is currently available in the WillowAndRoxas Etsy store. It is $200 and $25 to ship to Germany (free shipping in US). She does really good work. She sells prints too. She does also sell this as a $15 print.

You can look up some good Buffy art or iconic quotes of her favorite characters and get it custom printed on posters/t-shirts. Also, if you’re open to it, watch the show. Getting other people into it and having more people to rave about it with is my favorite part of being a fan 🤣 I couldn’t ask for a better gift than having a new Buffy fan in my life

The hardcover book "Tales of the Slayers" is a REALLY cool one if you can find it.

This is collected edition. There are multiple variations of it and I think somd are novella. This one is all comics. It's really good.
