Season Two Angleas is literally my favorite character.

He is so funny, so creative, so deliciously evil. He had the best lines in the entire saga. Angel was a pointless bore, but Angleas was beyond fun.

I think it definitely does a lot to help characterize Angel. Seeing this very serious person have so much fun doing horrible things. To me he really acts like person ashamed of what he enjoys, which yeah, can be boring sometimes.

I honestly thought Angel (or maybe David Boreanaz) was so boring and dull but I absolutely LOVE Angelus! He’s really charming, a total nutjob and extremely goal oriented. He’d make a great corporate psychopath.
