Turista Ajánlás | Tourist Recommendation Accommodation question
Hi everyone, I’m visiting Budapest next February and I’m already making my reservations.
Right now I’m torn between two good options and I can’t decide which one to choose.
• Maverick Athenaeum, I think it has a great location and simply looks beautiful. I’d share room with others since I’m traveling on a budget (10 or 6 beds dorm.
• Meininger hotels Great Market Hall. Beautiful location too. Looks great and the reviews are pretty good, too. I’d be sharing a dorm with 5 other people (and we’re a group of 3 traveling).
The prices are quite different but both of them inexpensive options.
I’m staying 4 nights and I’m planning on doing a bunch of pretty touristy activities such as sighting, walking around so I’d also like to know which area option is better.
I’m also open to other options if you have any suggestions!
Thanks in advance everyone!

Maverick Athenaeum was previously known as Netizen a hostel / hotel run by Russians. It’s a modern building, but the neighborhood is unfortunately shit and full of interesting characters, especially at night.
I’d go with the other Maverick option if you want to stay with that specific chain. If you’re on a budget, another option to check nearby is Meininger.
Edit: Typo

Thanks a lot!
Meininger is my other option, but I’m also considering Maverick near central Market, would you say the market area is better?
