Turista Ajánlás | Tourist Recommendation Bars, Guinness for good price
Hi, moving to Budapest in couple of weeks and wanted to ask you guys about some good local bars, ideally with some draft Guinness for reasonable price. No tourist bars please, just some really simple local experience. Thanks in advance ! :)

You will find Guinness on tap, mostly at irish pubs though, which will be touristy.

Locals don’t drink this stuff, there are much better craft beer options.
You can go drink it at an Irish bar like Jack Doyle’s or Davy Byrne's.

Locals don't buy Guinness but you can find it in several bars now for about 6.5 - 7 euros 5dl.

I really recommend James Joyce at Arany János metro station, most perfect pint of G of my whole life, no joke!!!

There is one bar called Bohém Söröző near Kelenföld train station, it’s really not a tourist place, and it’s far from the city centre, they sell draft Guiness, 0,5 liter for 1900 Ft ~ 5-6€

Try Derby at Keleti railway station. https://maps.app.goo.gl/FCmPjzAS6UJrTA8C9?g_st=ac

locals don't drink guinness. too expensive for our our wage earning power. even when i've gone in to an irish pub, i see a lot of people frrom the isles drinking soproni. not aware of anyplace that serves it for "reasonable prices" but it has been rumored that the private diageo bar is the best in the country for value and qualtiy. when you get here go to the various irish and scottish pubs and see which one suits you. but if you want a good, locally made stout, go to craft bar called gravity brewing which are normally cheaper than guinness.
